Alumni of Color Initiative

The Brown Annual Fund

Brown Annual Fund Unrestricted Support
Unrestricted support through the Brown Annual Fund is critical to the University, bringing the very best students and faculty together on campus and ensuring that they have the necessary resources for success. Annual Fund giving aids need-blind financial aid policies, library and technological support, and an increased faculty roster, all of which combine to create an exceptional academic experience. These current-use gifts are completely spent in the year in which they are given.

Brown Annual Fund Investment In Diversity
Gifts to the Annual Fund’s Investment in Diversity are designated with a preference for students of color. They are also put to work immediately, and support need-blind admissions. These scholarship funds help assure that the University will continue to admit students based on their exceptional academic track record, outstanding intellectual potential, and ability to flourish at Brown regardless of their economic need.

Goal: $2.5 million
Annual Fund current-use gifts make a profound impact on teaching and learning at Brown, driving many of the University’s most critical initiatives. Your gifts to the Annual Fund–Investment in Diversity will provide financial aid to a group of talented scholars from underrepresented populations.
